4 IMPORTANT RULES FOR MOWING YOUR LAWN

Writer's picture: Davin WesleyDavin Wesley
  1. Aim to try and cut your grass when it is dry. Mowing your grass when it is wet is not only hard on your mower but it leaves room for fungus to creep in. This causes fungal infestations.

  2. The cooler part of the day (early morning or late afternoon) is best for you and your mower. So shoot for those times!

  3. Keep your blades sharp. Keeping your blades sharp not only are good for the health of the turf but it also take strain off the mower. Sharper blades=less repair costs in the future.

  4. Change the patterns and direction of your cut. Switching cutting patterns and direction of the cut helps to prevent rutting in your lawn. The compliments for your cool zigzag pattern never hurt either!!
